The Approach

Music for every generation in the room

A great wedding dance floor is not one genre. It is 80s and 90s classics for your parents' friends, current hits for your cousins, a little country for the Okanagan crowd and the songs that mean something to the two of you. Kris builds each set around your taste, then reads the room in real time so the floor never empties.

Since 2009 he has worked with Okanagan planners, photographers and venue coordinators on more than fifteen years of events. He knows the timelines, the acoustics of the popular winery tents and how to keep speeches on schedule without anyone noticing he is doing it.

Wedding FAQ

Questions couples ask

What is the difference between the Reception and Full Day packages?

Reception covers the evening: dinner music, speeches on the mic and the dance, with sound, dance floor lighting, wireless mic and setup included. Full Day adds a separate ceremony sound system, cocktail hour music and MC services, so Kris runs the timeline from the processional to the last dance. Most couples choosing Full Day have a ceremony and reception at the same venue or nearby.

How long is a typical booking?

Full Day bookings usually run 7 to 9 hours, for example a 4 PM ceremony through a midnight last dance. Reception bookings are typically 4 to 5 hours from dinner to close. Longer timelines are quoted on request.

We already have an MC or a ceremony musician. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Kris regularly works alongside a family member or friend acting as MC, a live ceremony musician or the officiant's own setup. He will still provide the mic, handle cues and keep the music side of the timeline on track.

Do you need anything from the venue?

Just standard power near the DJ setup. Kris brings the PA speakers and subwoofer, microphones, lighting, DJ table and everything else.

Can you handle the ceremony and reception in different locations?

Yes. Separate sound systems for the ceremony site and the reception are common at Okanagan wineries and lakefront venues, and are part of the Full Day package.

Will you take requests from guests?

That is up to you. Some couples love guest requests, others prefer a curated playlist. Kris follows your lead and uses your do-not-play list as the final word.

How do we secure our date, and how can we pay?

A signed agreement and a 50% deposit hold your date, with the balance due by the wedding date. Payment is by e-transfer, cheque or cash; credit cards are not accepted.
