A good party has a mixed room: your parents' friends, your coworkers, your cousins who want hip-hop and your uncle who wants Motown. Open format means Kris moves between house, disco, funk, hip-hop, Top 40, country and 80s, 90s and 2000s throwbacks in the same set, reading what the floor responds to and building the night from there.
Since 2009 he has played festival stages like Center of Gravity, Fireside Festival and Nest Fest, brewery and winery parties for Red Bird Brewing and Okanagan Wine Festivals, Sunday Service beach days, and hundreds of birthdays and backyards across Kelowna and the valley.

What kinds of parties and events do you DJ?
Milestone birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, graduations, backyard and lake-house parties, brewery and winery events, patio pop-ups, festival and community stages, and bar nights. If people are meant to dance, Kris can DJ it.
How big a party can you handle?
Anything from a 30-person backyard with a single speaker to a 300-person festival stage with a full rig. The setup is sized to your guest count and the space, indoors or out.
Can you take requests at a party?
Yes, if you want that. Kris reads requests against what is working on the floor and works them in where they fit. Must-play and do-not-play lists are always welcome.
Do you play outdoor events?
Regularly. Backyards, beaches, wineries and festival grounds. Kris brings a covered setup and only needs standard power; he can advise on generator options for remote sites.
How far ahead should I book a party DJ in Kelowna?
Summer Saturdays go early, often two to three months out. Weeknights and off-season dates can usually be booked with a few weeks' notice.
